Directions: From a position about 6 cables N of Nisida Pondikos Light (3.188) the track leads about 2 miles E and NE into the bay, passing with positions from Akra Karloglossa Light (38o 28’. 4N, 21o 05’.0E) (3.189): S of Akra Karloglossa thence: SE of the N entrance point (4 cables E) from which a light (framework tower with gallery, red band, 8m in height) is exhibited.

Caution: Yfalos (Ifalos) Pondikos (3.191), lies about 1 mile S of Akra Karloglossa.

Anchorage: The Port area is a natural safe anchorage able to offer safe shelter to all kind and size of ships. May be obtained in the bay in depths of 18 to 22 m, good holding, mud.

Weather: The port and the anchorage are safe. The sea breeze does not usually reach the inside of the harbour. The bay and all port facilities enjoy excellent natural protection from the prevailing weather conditions all year long.

Port Entrance: The minimum width is 450 m and its direction is South Western.

Waste reception facilities: Available for all types of disposals.

Largest Vessel: Safe afloat with draft loaded -14 m.

Arrival: Call Port Authorities VHF CH 12, Pratique formalities as per IMO FAL DOCS.

Ballast: Ballasting - Deballasting allowed.
